Obsession Racing 2019 Press Release #1

MENIFEE, CA – Starting off the new year in 2019 Eric’s first show in his Obsessed Monster truck was in Anaheim California for Monster Jam.  In racing he had an issue with his transmission which put him out for the two wheel competition but our awesome crew was able to get the truck back together for the freestyle competition.  Eric was claimed of getting the biggest air of the night!

For our second show we were lucky enough to stay in our area for another Monster Jam show in San Diego California.  The track condition from the rains played against us but in freestyle Eric got his tremendous amount air as usual and did a cool nose wheelie during his freestyle.  He also went for the back flip that brought the crowd to their feet!

After two California shows they headed east bound & down loaded up and trucked to Houston Texas again for Monster Jam.  Eric has his two wheel challenge down to a T now!  He did an awesome nose stoppie and also the two wheel bicycle perfectly!  He ended the night with another great freestyle run catching major air once again!

We are looking forward to being back in California for Monster Jam for the month of February!

Obsession Racing 2018 Press Release #6

MENIFEE, CA – Our first event in July was on the 4th at the Pomona fairgrounds for WGAS Motorsports.  Both trucks competed in this event.  This was a freestyle only show.  It had been awhile for Rick and Eric to perform in this show as they are normally attending the show in Del Mar California.  They had a good time at the event and both put on an excellent show.  Eric did some of his high flying action and had the biggest air of the night!

Wrapping up July Rick and Eric headed to the Orange County Fair to do shows for the Traxxas Monster Truck tour.  They had 7 shows to compete in.  Eric took most of the wins.  Bigfoot and Rick followed right behind him.  The shows went smoothly considering how many shows they had to compete in.  That is a win in itself!!

In the beginning of August both trucks competed at the Sonoma County Fair again for Traxxas Monster Truck Tour.  These were three days of shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Eric won in freestyle for all three of the nights and Rick took home two racing wins!

Our last event in August was close to home in Lancaster again for the Traxxas Monster Truck tour.  This show was a Friday night only show with freestyle and racing.  Eric unfortunately wasn’t able to compete in the freestyle competition due to a broken transmission, but he did win the wheelie competition before it was broken.  Rick won racing and also the donut competition.

It was a great two months for Obsession Racing and we are looking forward to the events ahead of us!
