Obsession Racing Press Release 2014 #5

MENIFEE, CA – May started off in Santa Rosa California for an event for WGAS Motorsports. This was a Friday and Saturday show. Friday night was racing and Saturday night was freestyle. Jimmy Lehnertz took Eric’s place in his driver’s seat because it is his senior year and it is crucial that he does not miss any school. Jimmy did a fantastic job piloting Eric’s truck. Rick drove his truck Wrong Way Rick truck for the first time this year at this event. He also put on a great show and is always a hit with his unique truck for the fans and children.

On Friday May 9th we did a display for E. B. Bradley in Anaheim California for their open house. We took Eric’s Obsessed truck for this display and they made shirts for their customers for autographing and to meet the drivers. Everyone is always so cordial and friendly and it is always nice to see customers we have met before and new fans in our future.

Rick headed to Santa Maria on Wednesday May 14th for displays promoting the Saturday show for WGAS Motorsports. Eric and I drove up Friday after school to meet Rick at the rodeo grounds. Since this show was closer to home and only on Saturday night Eric was able to drive his truck because he wouldn’t be missing any school. Eric did great and went to the semifinals in racing. For freestyle Eric started out in his truck and then Rick joined him in a Father/Son freestyle. The fans enjoy seeing family work together and really cheered them on!

May ended with a display in Del Mar California for WGAS Motorsports for a press day to promote the Del Mar Fair that will be happening over Fourth of July weekend. It was a great turnout with a lot of media coverage.
