MENIFEE, CA – This year we were fortunate enough to have the first weekend in January off. Our Monster Jam Fox Sports West Tour started in our home town in Anaheim California for a one day show on Saturday January 14 th . This tour is televised Nationwide on Fox Sports 1 airing every weekend. This tour we compete against the same drivers. It is a very competitive field of talent. At the Anaheim 1 show on the 14 th Obsession Racing started off the New Year great!

They put on a great performance for our first show and pleased all of the 45,000 cheering fans in the audience! We also always enjoy the pit party/meet and greet before the shows to catch up with all of our great fans who support us! The following weekend was another home town show in San Diego California. We have been blessed by rain this year but the stadium was filling up fast with water! Fortunately the sun made itself present on Saturday enough to dry out the stadium, and the trucks were able to put on another fantastic show! The crowd was pleased once again with Eric and his mile high air in Obsessed and Rick pulling of some no handed donuts in Obsession!

Wrapping up January we headed back to Anaheim once again for a second and final show in California. Rick in Obsession pulled off great wheelies and placed second in the competition. We are ecstatic to say that Eric won the freestyle show! He also did a back flip in his truck for the first time and did it like a champ! We are so proud of him and all of his accomplishments!

Obsession Racing Facebook

MENIFEE, CA – The weekend before Eric’s 21 st birthday Rick and Eric returned to The Southern California Fair in Perris CA. It had been five years since they have been able to do this show again. This is the original place that Eric debuted his truck at 14 years old. This is also a hometown show that is always fun to do! The promoter of this show is WGAS Motorsports. This was a two day event with two shows a day. Our home town was so ecstatic to see Obsession Racing back in their home town that the local newspaper (The Press Enterprise) did a feature article on Eric and Obsession Racing. Rick and Eric closed the show each time with a dual freestyle that brought the crowd to their feet!!

The following weekend Obsession Racing headed to Victorville California for Outlaw Monster Trucks for a one day show on Saturday evening. This event was freestyle only. Eric did some wicked donuts and his usual air plane height jumps!! Rick also did a great job keeping up a quick momentum and hit the jumps hard. It was a quick and simple fun event and it is always a pleasure to perform close to home and to see our gracious fans!
