MENIFEE, CA – June started out in Longview Washington for the Traxxis
Monster Truck Tour. Rick had a display with his Obsession truck on Friday at Advance
Auto Parts to promote Saturday’s Show. There was two shows on Saturday. Both shows
went well and Obsession and Obsessed put on a great show along with the other trucks
that they competed with.

The following weekend the guys headed up to Medford Oregon for another two day show
on Saturday again for the Traxxis Monster Truck Tour. Unfortunately the weather was
rainy for both shows but they managed to put on a good show for everyone anyways.
On the 16 th of June both trucks did an exhibition run for Irwindale Speedway. It was a
night of destruction which closed the evening with Rick and Eric in their monsters
crushing full sized motor homes. The crowd really enjoyed it!

The last event of June was held at the Alameda Fair in Pleasanton California. This show
was for WHR Motorsports. There were 3 shows for this weekend. One each on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday with racing and freestyle. Friday night Eric took the win in racing
and Sunday Rick won racing and freestyle.

MENIFEE, CA – February started out in San Diego California for Monster Jam on the Saturday the 3^rd.  Obsessed is solely running for Monster Jam this year as Rick has back issues and needed time to heal. Eric put on a fantastic show for freestyle and made it into the bonus category!  The following Saturday Eric did another show for Monster Jam in Anaheim California.  Eric was one the few who caught some of the biggest air of the night and made it to the second round of racing.  Staying in California the Obsession Racing team had their next event in Oakland.  This event was held on Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday night Eric won El Torro Loco in his round of racing! El Torro bucked into Eric during the race like a mad bull!  In freestyle Eric had massive air which ended with a bent four link bar that ended his run.  On Sunday Eric’s truck broke an input shaft in his transmission and was unable to run the full length of the show.  For the last weekend in February Eric had another Monster Jam show in Nampa Idaho.  This event was one show on Friday night and two events on Saturday.  This was a great weekend for Eric! He dominated in racing in all three shows winning Max D & Grave Digger along the way and Saturday he was the event winner for that show.

For Obsession Racing’s first event in March was another Monster Jam show in Reno Nevada. The events were held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  On Friday and Saturday night Eric put on another phenomenal show.  He was making record breaking time in racing on Saturday night and doing awesome in freestyle!  He had a fuel issue and the Obsessed truck was unable to run on Sunday.

On the 25^th of March Eric’s truck was filmed for the show America’s Got Talent.  This show will be aired on Tuesday May 26^th  on NBC.  It was a pleasure meeting all the judges.  Simon took a liking to Eric and they had a nice time visiting.  We are excited to see it air!

Obsession Racing’s final event in March was for Toughest Monster Truck Tour.  This was Rick’s first show back in his truck since January.  This show was held on Friday and Saturday.  Rick took the racing win on Friday night and made it to the semifinals on Saturday.  Eric put on a great freestyle on Friday and took the overall win on Saturday!

MENIFEE, CA – 2018 Started off with a new truck for Obsessed. Eric’s year old truck graduated to his Father Rick. Now that both trucks are identical it makes it easier on the team because now we don’t have to supply two trucks with different parts. Obsession Racings first event was in Salem Oregon for Traxxas Monster Truck Tour. Both Obsession and Obsessed were booked for this show. They performed for two events on Saturday afternoon and evening. The event consisted of a wheelie competition, racing and freestyle. On Saturday afternoon Rick won racing and Eric won the wheelie competition and freestyle. At the Saturday evening show Rick won the wheelie competition and Eric won racing and freestyle. Obsession Racing did a phenomenal job and had a lot of fun doing it!

January 19th and 20th Obsession Racing did a show in Bakersfield California again for the Traxxas Monster Truck Tour. Obsession Racing had another great weekend! Rick in Obsession took all three wins for the wheelie competition, racing and freestyle on Friday night! Dad has still got it!! On Saturday Eric won the wheelie competition and freestyle and Rick won racing.

February will be another busy month. Both Eric and Rick are really enjoying their new rides and how they handle!! Obsession Racing is off to a great start and is looking forward to a successful 2018!
