MENIFEE, CA – Obsession Racing held their first event on July Fourth for WGAS Motorsports in Pomona California. Both Rick and Eric participated in the shows with their monster trucks. They both put on a good performance which pleased our California Fans! It is always a fun show to be a part of as they put on an awesome firework show that we all get to enjoy and the end of the evening.
On the 12 th and 13 th of July Obsessed and Obsession were in Turlock California for West Coast National Monster Trucks. These events had both racing and freestyle competition. It was also our crew guy’s Birthday and we were able to celebrate his 21 st birthday together! This month we
started our new YouTube channel under Obsession Race Team. Rudy has also been a great deal of help accomplishing this. Please go on our channel and subscribe and check it out!
On Rick birthday Obsession Racing had their first event of a 5 day show at Orange County Fair Ground in Costa Mesa California for Monster X.
Everyone put on a great performance. Eric won two of the 5 shows and Rick won one. It was a great week for Obsession Racing! We also celebrated and sang to Rick in wishing him a happy Birthday at the end of the first show.
August 1 & 3 rd we held and event for Malicious Monster Trucks in Yuba City California. There was racing and freestyle competition. Eric made it to the finals and racing both nights and was on top of his game in freestyle.
The following weekend Obsession and Obsessed headed to Grass Valley California for All Star Monsters. The show was on Friday and Saturday night. Eric cleaned house in his Obsessed truck taking home the freestyle win on Friday and the racing and freestyle win on Saturday!
We ended August’s chapter in Lancaster California on Friday the 23 rd . This was a one day event and Eric took the overall win! Everyone was thrilled with his two wheel skilled stoppies and also his huge air in freestyle!!
