MENIFEE, CA – On the third of April Obsession got together eight truck in total including our two for the filming of the season finale of the show 911. The filming was done at the Irwindale race track in California. Directly from the filming Obsession Racing went to the 805 raceway in Santa Maria for All Star Monster Trucks. This show had racing, freestyle and best trick competition. Rick and Eric made it to the semifinals in racing. Eric won the best competition do his awesome stoppies. The following day Eric managed to wreck his final white Obsessed body but placed third overall in racing and second place in freestyle. Rick also made it to the final round in racing.
After Santa Maria Obsession Racing had a show in Santa Clara California for Monster Jam. Eric did another one of his great nose wheel stopping and brought the crowd to their feet in freestyle.
Obsession Racing’s Obsession Truck did a display for Karl’s Hardware in Lancaster California on the 27 th of April for their customer appreciation event. Everyone was very friendly and it was a pleasure to help put on this event. The first weekend in May Obsession and Obsessed did a show for WGAS Motorsports in Santa Rosa California. Both truck were put on display at the Les Schwab tire store to promote the shows. Eric won freestyle both night and Rick won racing Saturday night. On the 10 th and 11 th Obsession Racing did another event for WGAS Motorsports in Turlock California. On Friday Rick won racing and on Friday and Saturday! It was a good weekend for Obsession! Eric had a great freestyle Friday and Saturday night but on Saturday night his freestyle ended in a roll over. On the 15 th of May the Obsession Monster Truck filmed for a rap video for the performer name Future. The video was filmed on the Perris Speedway track in California.
The Obsessed monster truck was on display for a child’s 5 th birthday party on the 18 th of May also in Perris California. The kids really enjoyed having Eric there to sign autographs and ask him questions and see the truck up close.
For our last event in May Obsession and Obsessed did a show the San Bernardino County Fair. Obsession went to the semifinals and placed third in freestyle. Eric in Obsessed won racing and freestyle.
