Obsession Racing Press Release 2014 #2

MENIFEE, CA – February started off in Salt Lake City Utah for Allstar Motorsports Productions. This was our first time running for this promoter and it was a huge success and a lot of fun to work for them. This weekend consisted of three shows with one on Friday night and two shows on Saturday. It was a great weekend for Obsession Racing. Rick won racing for all three of the shows with Eric placing within seconds behind him. On Saturday Rick won freestyle launching off of the freestyle ramp that brought the crowd to their feet cheering!! A big part to the success of this week has to go to Mark Gallagher for all of his help for Obsession Racing. We appreciated Mark in letting Rick use his shop and stay at their home in between events. We also want to thank his wife Leslie for keeping Rick fed and making him feel at home while he was on the road.

From Utah Rick traveled on to Spokane Washington for Monster Jam for a weekend that consisted of 4 shows. Eric and I barely made the flight into Spokane due to weather on Thursday night. We were grateful for Craig Kenagy for chauffeuring us around and helping us crew at the show! It was cold and snowing and we sure did miss our California sunshine but it was successful show and it always nice to be with our Monster Jam Family! Rick and Eric had some very close races with fast times and their freestyles were always good solid runs. Eric did a great interview with Scott Heaton and he is getting more comfortable each time talking on the microphone in front of a sold out crowd.

Our last show in February was closer to home and out of the snow. It was in Indio California for WGAS Motorsports. This show was for two days on Sunday and Monday over Presidents weekend. This was a freestyle only show. The stands were packed with local friends and fans and everyone was excited and pleased with Rick and Eric’s performance! Our next event is for Monster Jam in El Paso Texas for some more high flying fun!!
